GALLUP — Funeral services for Helen Elizabeth Garcia, 87, were at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at St. Francis Church. Burial was at St. Francis Church. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park. A rosary was recited at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis Church.

Garcia died Oct. 6, 2011, in Gallup. She was born March 25, 1924, in Denver.

Survivors include her son Robert A. Aragon; daughters Antoinette Torrez; sisters Angelina Ramirez, Julia Farmer and Gloria Caraveo; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Garcia; parents Peter and Charlotte Aragon and brothers Peter, Zachary, Charles and Vincent Aragon.

The family will receive relatives and friends noon-3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at the Gallup Community Center.
